Hey there! About two days ago, I went to possibly one of my new favorite accessory stores for the first time, called Charming Charlie. I knew about it for a while, but never checked it out because I though it was a, uh-- senior ladies' store. But after seeing what a family friend had purchased there, I just had to go check it out. And boy, am I glad I did!
Turns out, Charming Charlie is actually a women's accessory store, with prices equivalent to Forever 21 jewlery. So, I was already in love. But here's what won me over-- all the accessories are sorted by color! So, there's a table with purple jewelry, a table with silver jewelry, red jewelry, pink, etc., etc. And I could have spent hours in that store! They also had belts, purses, shoes, and sunglasses. Howver, since they carry some colored jewelry, you'd imagine there is some tacky stuff as well. But, the world is just plagued with tackiness regardless. My grandmother actually owned a store called "Tacky Jackie", no lie! But anyway, Charming Charlie still has some amazingly cute accessories mixed in with the tacky ones. I didn't have much money, so I just bought some cute white-floral Wayfarer-ish sunglasses, because I desparately needed a new pair. So, I think they're pretty cute! And, they only cost around $10.
And, for the 1st grade-4th grade group, they have Charlie Girl within the store, which is basically cute Claire's-y jewelry for they younger crowd.
Overall, I really liked Charming Charlie and I hope to come back soon!
